However, many discussions had to be left open due to limited time in Dakar. Therefore, the Health Working Group of the Microinsurance Network decided to open this mailinglist for further exchange of ideas, experiences and news on HMI. In the future, thought-provoking questions will be released to the list on a monthly basis. We encourage you to participate in the discussion by sharing your opinion and HMI experiences, both successes and challenges. Your contribution may provide the missing piece of information for others who are still struggling with a problem or may trigger people who already found a solution to share it. The starting point for our first discussion is the roles of the public and private sectors in HMI: Can we catalyse Health Microinsurance through PPP (Public Private Partnerships)? What partnership models have been tried so far and what was there performance? We look forward to a stimulating exchange of emails.
