The Micro Insurance Academy (MIA) is a Delhi-based Charitable Trust 
(NGO) dedicated to providing technical assistance in insurance 
domain-knowledge to organizations that focus on grassroots communities. 
With over 40 professionals in its Delhi office, MIA is the largest 
global microinsurance resource center. MIA also carries out the research 
needed for data collection & analysis underlying effective 
interventions, and impact evaluation.
 
We empower communities to protect livelihoods using microinsurance. In a 
nutshell, we're "helping communities manage risks from the ground up."
