On the 24th of September, the United Nations University (UNU) has organized a multi-part panel discussion of policy perspectives on how climate change affects the ability of people to manage their risks - through migration and displacement, or through mechanisms such as risk reduction and insurance. This event will complement the message of the UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon for leaders of the world to “seal the deal” and find options to help people manage risks associated with climate change.
