We would like to invite you to attend the MCII side event at the Bonn Climate Change Talks - June 2009.

Side event: "Climate Risk Insurance: Linking Disaster Risk Reduction and Insurance"
Date: 08 June 2009, 19:30 - 21:00
Location: Room Solar (Ministry of Environment)

The side event will feature experts on disaster risk insurance, microinsurance and insurance, and delegates from Parties who have made statements on insurance-like mechanisms. We will also discuss a new paper produced in collaboration with ISDR (attached) on design considerations in linking disaster risk reduction and risk sharing.

We hope to see some of you there, and look forward to staying in touch this historical year on the road to Copenhagen.
