LeapFrog Investments recently launched the world’s first investment fund
focused on microinsurance and related financial businesses serving
low-income people. Our mission is profit-with-purpose: The fund targets
significant private equity returns and financing life-changing financial
services for 25 million financially excluded people in Africa and Asia.

LeapFrog is establishing an Asia office based out of Sydney, and is
recruiting a small, dedicated team. The office will initially develop and
manage investments in India, Pakistan, Indonesia and the Philippines. The
office will collaborate intensively with our small teams in Johannesburg and
Edinburgh, and seek synergies with our investments in Africa.

The fund seeks an experienced Partner to work in Sydney alongside LeapFrog’s
founder and president, Dr. Andrew Kuper. The ideal candidate will have:

•    5 to 10 years’ or more experience in private equity or strongly related
area
•    Background in financial services preferred, with insurance industry
experience a plus
•    Experience in Asian markets strongly preferred
•    Demonstrated entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial track record
•    Demonstrated sourcing and due diligence skills
•    Demonstrated deal negotiation and exit skills
•    Demonstrated ability to engage senior management of companies
•    Comfort in a fast-moving team environment and operating in emerging
markets
•    A track record of collaboration and collegiality
•    A willingness to travel extensively in and beyond Asia.

In addition to salary, LeapFrog intends to offer equity participation to
